Ground Control to Major Tom

As the classic David Bowie song goes:

Ground Control to Major Tom
Commencing countdown, engines on
Check ignition and may God's love be with you

We are in that very position about to commence the countdown. Late yesterday afternoon, Apple changed the status of Stealth Bee Jam for iPad to "Ready for Sale".  Very exciting.

But before we can "light this candle" to quote a line from "The Right Stuff", we have some server hosting upgrading to complete. Once that's done, we can officially flip the switch in iTunes Connect to make Stealth Bee Jam available for purchase.

Of course we're excited. But there is a little bit of trepidation. Up till now, it was all dreams and potential. Who knew what the sales could be. We cycled from being optimistic to realistic to pessimistic countless times during development.

And so, as we hover our slightly trembling finger over the launch button today, we bring along these mixed emotions, made all the more intense, waiting for the server upgrade.
